Kameliya has been part of the ProCredit Bank team for more than 15 years and firmly believes that a sustainable banking model begins with responsibility, transparency, and a human-centred approach. Her career combines leadership roles in branch management, business client services, and international experience within the Credit Risk team at ProCredit Holding in Germany.

Since December 2019, she has been a member of the Management Board, and today she leads the Bank as Chairperson of the Board and Chief Executive Officer.

Strategically, Kameliya ensures that ProCredit Bank acts as a driver of digitalisation and positive change in the sector, while continuing to stand out through stability, predictability, and a personalised approach.

She shares the vision that banks must learn to “step into the client’s shoes” and strategically develop an approach that places customers at the centre of decision-making. She is convinced that innovation in banking services and the simplification of processes help bridge the gap with people. In contrast, the best products and services are created through active client feedback.

As Chief Executive Officer, she leads the Bank’s development in following areas: Capital Markets, and Liquidity and Sustainability.

Her education combines prestigious academic institutions with practical management training. Kameliya holds a degree in Economics from the London School of Economics. She later expanded her expertise with an Executive MBA from the University of Sheffield, focusing on leadership, change management, and sustainable development.

In 2017, she also completed the intensive programme of the ProCredit Academy in Germany.

Her leadership approach is based on trust, clarity, and leading by example. She believes in leadership through personal commitment and the ability to set the right priorities.
